13-50 Serious Criminal Trespass and Theft – Zu Design Adelaide Arcade

 

Police need help to identify two males who broke into Zu Design and stole precious stones.

Some time over the Easter long week-end in 2013, between Thursday, 28th March, 2013 and Tuesday, 2nd April, 2013, unknown persons have broken into Zu Design in the Adelaide Arcade.  They entered via a side sash window, using body pressure to break the lock.  Approximately $30,000 of precious stones, jewellery, digital camera and cash was taken.  The 120 gems stolen included diamonds, yellow sapphire, tourmaline, garnet and quartz.  The above two males were sighted on CCTV ‘casing’ the premises prior to the break-in.

The two males are described as:

1.   190 cm (6’3″), thin build, Caucasian, with long brown hair in a ponytail and thin beard, wearing a black t-shirt with white graphics on the front, black 3/4 shorts and brown sandals.

2.    180 cm (5’11”), athletic build, Caucasian, with short sandy hair, tattoo sleeve on left arm, tattoo sleeve on right arm just below elbow and tattoos across lower neck and chest, wearing a white Nike t-shirt, black 3/4 shorts, white runners and a black Nike bumbag.
