15-199 Aggravated Robbery Laguna Loans
At about 4.45 a.m. on Tuesday 23 December, 2014, three unknown offenders entered the premises of Laguna Loans, South Road, Mile End. Two firearms and a knife were produced, and two staff members were confronted and threatened. One staff member was forced to open the safe in a rear room and then bound to the rear with electrical tape. A second staff member was threatened with a shotgun and remained in front area of premises. Two offenders stole jewellery and cash from the safe room, and one offender damaged and stole property from the display cabinets in the front area. They exited from the front door of premises and were seen to cross South Road. Estimated value of property stolen is up to $200,000.
Suspects:
Male, 5’10Û, medium build, black balaclava, grey sweat top with long sleeves, track pants, black gloves, carrying a silver handgun.
Male, dark skin, 5’10Û-5’11Û, dark eyes, stocky build, black balaclava, blue sweat top with long sleeves, track pants, black gloves, carrying a knife.
Male, light skin, 5’7Û-5’9Û, chubby build, dark grey balaclava, dark grey jumper, dark jeans, white shoes. Believed to be carrying a long barreled firearm.
