Aggravated Assault – Findon (20-46)
At about 5.40 am on Monday, 25th May, 2020, the 79 year old male victim was on his daily walk. The victim walks around the Findon area, including Grange Road, Crittenden Road and Findon Road. Whilst the victim was walking on the eastern side of Findon Road and was approximately 25 metres from the Coles Shell Service Station, he felt a wack on his back. He was unsure what it was but then instantly felt a pain in the back. He stumbled forward before turning around to see a male running down the laneway towards Nicholls Court, past a yellow brick building. The male suspect did not speak to the victim. Once the victim returned home he found that he had a small puncture wound to his back and had in fact been stabbed with some sort of object. It is unknown what the weapon was. The victim was taken by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he was treated for non life threatening injuries.
The male is described as: in his twenties, 6′ tall (182 cm) and of medium build, wearing a black tracksuit, grey top and sneakers.
