Aggravated Serious Criminal Trespass and Theft and Arson – Gepps Cross Drive-In (18-04)

         

At about 1.18 am on Wednesday, 29th March, 2017, the above two males broke into the Gepps Cross Drive-In, at 588 Main North Road, Gepps Cross, by ramming a secured gate into the drive-in, using a stolen Ford utility, S.A. Registration No. VWI-195.  The males then gained access to the secured kiosk within the cinema grounds by ramming the front doors of the kiosk with the stolen utility.  They then stole an ATM containing cash from inside the kiosk.  The males then set fire to the building prior to leaving causing substantial damage.

At about 1.40 am on the same night the stolen Ford utility was located abandoned and on fire at Eastern Parade, Ottoway.  The utility had been stolen from a secured compound at the North Haven Marina, between Friday, 24th March, 2017 and Sunday, 26th March, 2017.

The two males are described as having slim builds, with one male approximately 185 cm (6’1″) whilst the other male was approximately 175 cm (5’9″) and both wearing dark/black clothing with their faces covered.
