At about 3.40am on Sunday 9th January 2022, three males broke into the post office located on Kensington Road Norwood. CCTV footage shows that around 3.40am a dark coloured sedan arrived at Australia Post, Norwood South. Three males including the driver exited the vehicle, smashed the front glass door using body force and a tool, possible a screwdriver or a knife, and gained entry into the premises. Two of the males jumped the cash counter, grabbed two cash tills and fled from the scene.

The three males and their vehicle were also involved in similar break-in’s at other businesses in the Eastern Suburbs between 3.30am and 4.20am on the same morning, where they gained entry by smashing the glass doors of the premises and targeting the cash tills.

The vehicle is suspected to be a Mazda 3 with significant paint damage to its roof and bonnet.

Suspects

One of the males is described as being medium build, wearing dark coloured ADIDAS track pants, dark coloured puffer jacket, blue beanie, blue coloured sneakers and black coloured gardening gloves.

The second male is described as slim build wearing black track pants, black ADIDAS shoes, blue long sleeve hoodie and red gloves.

The third male is described as medium build, wearing a blue BONDS long sleeve jumper, grey beanie, dark coloured shorts and sneakers.
