On Wednesday, 6 December 2023 at 2:10 PM, an unidentified male was caught on CCTV assaulting a bus driver on Mount Barker Road in Stirling.

The driver had confronted the male for not having a valid bus ticket and after a brief argument, the male was removed from the bus. As the driver returned to the bus, the male punched him in the head, causing dizziness and damaging his glasses.

Passengers intervened and the bus eventually continued its route.

The male suspect is described as being in his 20s, with a slim to medium build, and between 180-185 centimetres tall. He had short brown hair, a clean-shaven face, a tan complexion, and was wearing a dark jumper at the time.
