Crime Stoppers SA Chair recognised in Australia Day honours

Posted on 26/01/2024

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Sharon Hanlon has been appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in this year’s Australia Day honours!

For over 13 years, Sharon has been an invaluable part of the Crime Stoppers family, dedicating herself to our mission locally, nationally and internationally. From her role as Chair of Crime Stoppers in South Australia to her historic election as the first woman President of Crime Stoppers International in 2018, Sharon’s leadership has been nothing short of exceptional. She first joined our national Board in 2015, serving as Deputy between 2017 to 2023 and remains a valued national Director.

This well-deserved recognition is a testament to Sharon’s significant contribution to, and leadership across, various organisations and unwavering commitment to a safer community. Join us in congratulating Sharon on this well-deserved honour!
