Deception – Ingle Farm

Posted on 20/09/2023

At 2.00pm on Wednesday, 5th of April 2023, a male entered a shop at Ingle Farm. He browsed the store for a short time, before leaving without making a purchase.

Soon after, the store owner became aware that purchases had been made using her bank card without her permission. She went into the staff office and discovered her purse – containing her card – was missing.

She reported the theft to police and provided transaction details of the unauthorised purchases made.

CCTV from the Woolworths store at Para Hills confirmed the person illegally using the victim’s card was the same man who had visited the store earlier. He made two purchases at Woolworths at 2.42pm and 2.47pm and was wearing the same clothing.

He is described as Caucasian, with dark coloured hair and a heavy build. He has tattoos on his left upper arm and forearm, and right upper arm. At the time he was wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, dark coloured sneakers and carried a small bag over his right shoulder.
