Posted on 03/11/2020
At 3:00 pm Tuesday, 24 September 2019, the victim was dropped home to Daly Street, Kurralta Park by his father. He noticed that the front door was partially open but it closed when he reached the front of the house. The victim asked who was inside and a male replied. The victim unlocked the front door with his key, went inside and heard the back door of the house close. As he walked through the house he noticed it had been ransacked. The victim approached the back fence and saw the male getting into a grey VW ute driven by a female. He took a photograph of the male and the vehicle. The victim and his father subsequently discovered that over $12,000 worth of property had been stolen including jewellery, electronics, an iPhone and an MFS service medal.
Police are seeking a male, possibly of Mediterranean descent, dark short hair, wearing long dark loose fitting pants, dark shirt, dark cap and carrying a black backpack with coloured lining.
