Assault Christies Beach Hotel 22-39

Assault Christies Beach Hotel

A male entered the Christies Beach Hotel on 6th October 2021 at 10.00pm in company with approximately 10 other people. They became quite intoxicated and as a result were abusive towards staff members. The pictured male was asked to comply with COVID directions and sit down whilst he was drinking. This male then threw the contents of his glass into the face of one member of staff. Another member of staff then intervened at which time the pictured male struck him to the head with his glass, striking the victim on the left side of his head, causing the glass to smash. The victim sustained a laceration to the left side of his head which required hospitalisation.

The pictured male is described as Caucasian; heavy build, 20-30 years old. short dark hair wearing a light green buttoned up shirt, grey pants and dark coloured disposable face mask.
