Eight targets arrested in Operation Roam – Rogue Radar manhunt

Posted on 22/08/2017

Thanks to information provided to Crime Stoppers, two people wanted for serious drug offences in Queensland and found in South Australia are the latest to have been arrested as part of the week-long Operation Roam – Rogue Radar.
Following reports of the pair being spotted at the inner Adelaide suburb of Hyde Park, police arrested a 41-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman and charged them with interstate warrants for drug offending.

A search of the man and woman’s Goodwood home found a large commercial quantity of the controlled drug Psilocybin (pictured), with the pair also being charged for trafficking in a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug.
The result brings the current arrest tally to eight of the original 20 targets for this year’s Operation Roam.
In addition to a number of target arrests made by police around the country as a result of information provided by the public, at least two have handed themselves in after being named as wanted fugitives.

If you have information about the remaining wanted fugitives then call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online on our homepage.
