11-127 Robbery – Ovingham Railway Station

11-127 Police need help to identify a female who stole a handbag at the Ovingham Railway Station.

At about 9.20 am, on Tuesday, 28th June, 2011, the female victim got off the Mawson Lakes to Adelaide bound train, at the Ovingham Railway Station. As the victim walked south east along the platform, the female suspect pulled the victim’s handbag of her shoulder, causing the victim to have abrasians to her arms. The female suspect then fled with the bag. Whilst running away with the bag the female suspect has removed the victim’s purse and phone from the handbag and subsequently thrown the emptied handbag on the ground.

The female suspect is described as: 16 years, 5’2" (157 cm), slim build, Caucasian, with shoulder length black hair in a ponytail, wearing black Adidas track pants with white stripes and blue and white hooded jumper.
