13-120 Deception – Jam Factory Adelaide
Police need help to identify a male who used a stolen credit card to obtain money at different ATMs.
Between 4.00 pm and 5.00 pm on Wednesday, 18th September, 2013, the victim was at work at the Jam Factory, at 19 Morphett Street, Adelaide, when their purse containing a credit card was stolen from their office. The stolen credit card was subsequently used at various locations within the CBD, with the card being used multiple times at differing ATMs. Total amount of money stolen is approximately $2,500. CCTV has captured a male using the stolen credit card at an ATM at 60 Light Square, Adelaide, then again using the stolen credit card at another ATM at 60 Waymouth Street, Adelaide.
The male is described as: in his thirties, average height, medium build, Caucasian and has a slightly large stomach, wearing a black baseball cap, red t-shirt, dark Adidas trackpants and sneakers.
