14-117 Aggravated Serious Criminal Trespass & Theft & Attempt Deception – Kilburn

Police need help to identify a male who broke into a unit at Kilburn and stole the victim’s handbag and contents, then attempted to use the stolen credit cards without success.

At about 3.45 am on Saturday, 23rd August, 2014, the victim was asleep in their unit at Kilburn when they were awoken by a male walking out of their bedroom.  The victim got out of bed and went to the front door where they saw the male riding a grey bicycle down Northcote Street towards Churchill Road.  The victim had their handbag stolen, which contained cash, a mobile phone, identification and bankcards.

At about 6.59 am on the same day, the above pictured male attended at Coles Express Islington, on Churchill Road, Kilburn, riding a grey bicycle.  He entered the store and attempted to make a purchase using one of the stolen credit cards.  The transaction was declined and the male left the store on his grey bicycle.

The male is described as:  a young male with brown facial hair, wearing a grey Adidas hoodie with black sleeves and grey hood, black Adidas tracksuit pants with white stripes, blue sneakers and wearing a helmut.
