14-41 Arson – Beaumont
Police need help to identify a male who may be able to assist police with their investigation into an arson that occurred on a home at Beaumont.
At about 11.27 pm on Thursday, 17th October, 2013 an unknown person has approached the top of the victim’s driveway at Beaumont and poured an accelerant on the driveway and lit the accelerant. After a short time the flames have subsided and the unknown person has returned and kicked a canister down the driveway causing it to rest against the victim’s vehicle. Fire damage was caused to the rear right tyre and wheel arch. This was captured on CCTV installed at the victim’s house.
At about 2.20 pm on Wednesday, 4th December, 2013, the above male attended at the victim’s house and spoke to a member of the family. At this time the male mentioned the arson that occurred at the address two months earlier. It is possible that this male may have information in relation to the arson and police would like to speak to him. This person was captured on the CCTV installed at the victim’s house.
At about 11.30 pm on Friday, 14th March, 2014, another arson has occurred at the victim’s house.
The male is described as: 35-40 years, stocky build, Caucasian and tanned skin, wearing black tracksuit pants, white trainers, white t-shirt, blue checkered open shirt and dark sunglasses.
