14-60 Operation Unification – Illicit Firearms

Police need help to get illicit firearms out of the hands of criminals.

Operation Unification, a ANZPAA and Crime Stoppers Australia initiative relating to illicit firearms, is a two week operation that commenced on Monday, 16th June, 2014 and will finish on Sunday, 29th June, 2014. This operation is being conducted Australia wide and aims to get illicit firearms out of the hands of criminals. Illicit firearms are considered as: illegally imported, manufactured in Australia or stolen from registered owners.
