Police need help from the public to stop an upsurge in the theft of bicycles in Adelaide.
With more than a bicycle a day reported stolen from 1st September, 2014 until 11th February, 2015, police in Eastern Adelaide Local Service Area have launched "Operation Stop Bike Theft" in a bid to promote bicycle security and to target thieves. Unfortunately just four of the 192 bicycles stolen over the last five and a half months have been recovered by police.
