Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Attempt Theft – North Terrace, Adelaide (19-70)

At about 6.00 pm on Thursday, 2nd May, 2019 an elderly woman was walking along North Terrace, Adelaide, when she was approached by the pictured unknown male. The male has grabbed the lady by the head and turned her head towards him saying “Kiss me”. He has then placed his hand into her shopping bag and attempted to steal her wallet. The lady called out for assistance and several members of the public rushed to help her. The male then left the area. The lady was not physically hurt during the incident.

The male is described as: aged in his twenties, slim build, Aboriginal, with a dark unkempt beard and medium length dark hair, wearing a distinctive green or teal jacket that has a black back and black pants with a white motif.
