Aggravated Robbery & Illegal Use – Torrensville (19-30)

At about 10.30 pm on Saturday, 23^rd March, 2019, the victim was sitting in his car on Shipster Street, Torrensville, waiting to start his cleaning job, when five young males walked past his car from the direction of Henley Beach Road. They turned back, surrounded the car and threatened the victim. One of the males was holding a metal pole and another male was holding a knife. They demanded money from the victim and demanded he get out of the car. The five males then jumped into the victim’s car, a gold 2001 Honda Civic, and took off along Shipster Street heading north. The victim was not physically injured during the robbery. The stolen car was found twenty minutes later by police, dumped in the car park at the Brickworks Market place at Torrensville.

The five young males are described as being about eighteen years of age.

The victim has provided computer facial images of the following two males:

• The description of the male holding the metal pole is: 18-20 years of age, approximately 5’9” (175 cm), slim build, Australian, Caucasian appearance and has a small piece of blonde hair visible from underneath his headwear, wearing black hooded jumper with two white horizontal stripes on the front of the hoodie and a cap
• The description of the male holding the knife is : 18-20 years of age, approximately 5’8” (172 cm), slim build and of Asian/Chinese appearance, wearing a black hooded jumper with the hood up and trousers
