Aggravated Robbery – Tea Tree Plaza

11-99  Police need help to identify a male and a female who stole sunglasses from a kiosk and then assaulted the shop assistant.

At about 1.00 pm on Monday, 9th May, 2011 the male and female approached a sunglasses kiosk in the middle of a mall at Tea Tree Plaza, and stole some sunglasses.  When the shop assistant at the sunglasses kiosk realised that the couple had stolen sunglasses, they chased them and requested the sunglasses be handed back.  The couple then assaulted the shop assistant and left the shopping centre.

The couple are described as:

1.  Male, 18-20 years, 170 cm (5’7"), slim build, Caucasian, brown spiked hair and clean shaven, wearing blue long sleeved top with a white emblem on the front and black adidas shorts

2.  Female, 18-20 years, 165 cm (5’5"), slim build, Caucasian and brown shoulder length hair, wearing a brown leather jacket, pink top and blue jeans
