Arson – Burton (18-02)

         

At about 3.00 am on Sunday, 8th October, 2017, the above two males entered the driveway of a house on Nicholls Crescent, Burton, where a vehicle was parked.  One of the males approached the external CCTV camera and covered the camera with his hand.  The other male, who was carrying a 4-5 litre round petrol tin, poured flammable liquid over the car that was parked in the driveway.  The male that had covered the camera with his hand then returned to the car and set the car on fire.  The entire car was alight within seconds and both males ran from the driveway.

The males are described as:

• Male covering the camera – 5’8″ tall (172 cm) and slim build, wearing a beanie, dark slim fitting pants or jeans, light coloured zip up jacket and laced sneakers/shoes
• Male with petrol can – 5’5″-5’8″ tall (165-172 cm) and slim build, wearing a hooded jacket or jumper, 7/8 length slim fitting pants and slip on shoes
