Arson – Christie Downs (21-03)

At about 10.12 on Tuesday, 14th July, 2020, the pictured two persons who were aboard a motorbike have stopped on the pavement outside 3 Chad Street, Christie Downs.  The pillion passenger has alighted from the motorbike and thrown three Molotov cocktails at the front of the premises.  Two of the devices have hit the front of the building without causing significant damage.  A window was broken resulting in fire damage to the window frame and some personal items immediately adjacent to the window.  There were four adult persons inside the home at the time.  No one was injured.  The two persons have fled on the motorbike heading east along Chad Street.  One of the occupants quickly extinguished the flames with a garden hose.  The occupant has told police they do not know why this has happened and is not able to identify any likely suspects.
