Assault – Rundle Street Adelaide (16-06)
At about 5.52 pm on Saturday, 26th December, 2015, the female victim was walking east on Rundle Street, Adelaide and had just passed the intersection with Synagogue Place on the northern footpath. At this time the pictured male was walking in the opposite direction on Rundle Street. He punched the victim to the left hand side of her face with a clenched right fist. This caused the victim to be pushed to her right hand side with force and she had severe pain to her left ear. The male kept walking like nothing had happened. The attack was completely unprovoked.
The male is described as: middle thirties, 5’5″-5’6″ (165-167 cm), slim athletic build, with shaved dark hair and dark short stubble, wearing a long sleeved dark t-shirt, dark pants and dark shoes with yellow soles and markings on them. He was carrying a black backpack with a small silver key ring near the top part of the backpack. The male appeared to be drunk.
