In October 2017, Crime Stoppers International presented Crime Stoppers South Australia with three awards at the 38th Annual International Crime Stoppers Conference held at Hilton Panama, Panama City.

The awards were for:

Best Overall Specialised Program – Crime Stoppers South Australia for Operation Persist: solving cold case murders

Best Website – Crime Stoppers South Australia for website redesign & launch of mobile reporting apps

Best Special Report / Feature – Crime Stoppers South Australia for 2012 Cold Case Murder: Jayson Doelz
