Rewards up to $200,000 will be paid by the Government of South Australia, at the discretion of the Commissioner of Police, to anyone who provides information and assistance that leads to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for the suspected murder of David ‘John’ Saint.

At about 10.30 p.m. on Tuesday 16 April 1991, the body of David ”John” Saint, aged 40 years, was located lying face down in bushes on South Terrace, Adelaide. He was a homosexual known to frequent gay beats along South Terrace.
Mr Saint had a severe fracture of the skull. Lacerations to the rear of his head corresponded with a blood stained ’herring bone’ patterned paving brick found at the scene.
It is suspected that he was the victim of a homosexual bashing.
