Hit and Run – Ridleyton (21-73)
On Monday, 21st June, 2021, a white Ford Ranger utility was stolen from Beverley. At about 6.20 am on Thursday, 24th June, 2021, this same stolen vehicle was travelling north west on Hawker Street, Ridleyton, when it collided with four parked vehicles before flipping on its side. Police were quickly on the scene however due to heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area the Dog Operations were unable to track the male, who was viewed on CCTV running through the Foodland car park towards the overpass on South Road.
The male is described as: medium to heavy build, wearing dark clothing consisting of pants and possibly a jacket.
