Rewards up to $200,000 will be paid by the Government of South Australia, at the discretion of the Commissioner of Police, to anyone who provides information and assistance that leads to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for the suspected murder of  James Tun Tin.

On 20 April 2011, James Tun Tin, aged 37 years, was murdered when he confronted three aboriginal males in the rear yard of his home address at Gerrard Ave, Paralowie. Mr Tun Tin was killed by a single gunshot. The weapon is believed to be a sawn off 12 gauge shotgun, which has not been recovered.
