On 20 April 2011, James Tun Tin, aged 37 years, was murdered when he confronted three aboriginal males in the rear yard of his home address at Gerrard Ave, Paralowie. Mr Tun Tin was killed by a single gunshot. The weapon is believed to be a sawn off 12 gauge shotgun, which has not been recovered.
