Knife Point Robbery – McDonalds – Gilles Plains

08-48TV – Police need your help to identify a male person that was captured on CCTV at the Nor East Hotel, North East Rd Gilles Plains on Saturday August 16 2008. At about 10.20pm on this day a male person approached two men outside of McDonalds in the car park of the Gilles Plains Shopping Centre. The man produced a knife with a 20cm blade and demanded money. The knife was held close to the abdomen of one of the terrified victims who handed over a wallet. The attacker then ran off across Sudholz Rd. A male person was captured on CCTV at the Nor East Hotel around the time of this incident, fitting the description of the person wanted by Police. He is described as Caucasian, late 20’s to early 30’s, medium build, short brown hair on top and a long rats tail at the back. (The rat’s tail possibly has blonde dye). He also had stubble on his chin and was wearing a black long sleeved jumper / jacket with a white emblem on the front, dark tracksuit and thongs.
