Rewards up to $200,000 will be paid by the Government of South Australia, at the discretion of the Commissioner of Police, to anyone who provides information and assistance that leads to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for the suspected murder of Lu Linh Le.

Lu Le, aged 25 years, was last seen alive leaving the Royal Adelaide Hospital on 3 December 1984. He was in the company of a young woman and his clothing was left at the hospital. He was reported missing by his brother a few days later.Mr Le had previously been the victim of two serious assaults. It was strongly suspected that Mr Le had been lured away from the hospital and murdered.
In January 2013 the body of Mr Le was located in a shallow grave at Long Plains north of Adelaide. His body was partially clothed in hospital pyjamas and his hospital identification tag was also located.
