Rock Throwing – Southern Expressway (18-61)
This poster will be circulated in the southern suburbs as a result of Operation Watercolour, which was launched on Thursday, 7th June, 2018, to specifically focus on reports of rock throwing on the Southern Expressway. The focus of the Operation is to prevent further incidents and identify suspects or those who may choose to undertake this very dangerous and irresponsible activity. The Operation has a range of key activities, ranging from dedicated resources, intelligence reviews and the identification of people of interest to police. As of Monday, 2nd July, 2018, there have been 44 reported incidents of rock throwing.
