Theft and Fail To Render Assistance – Blair Athol (21-78)

         

At about 7.35 pm on Thursday, 29th April, 2021, the victim, who is the owner of the IGA at 371 Prospect Road, Blair Athol, was unloading stock from a van in the carpark. At this time an employee has run up to him and informed him that someone, the above pictured person, was shop lifting in the store and has left the store and was now in a vehicle. The employee pointed out the vehicle to the victim, who has then stepped in front of the vehicle in an attempt to stop it. The front left hand side of the vehicle has collided with the victim and not stopped. The vehicle has then left the area. The above pictured person has stolen approximately $300 worth of grocery items from IGA and did not stop and render assistance after striking the victim.

The male is described as: 175 cm (5’9″), slim build, Caucasian with a pale complexion, wearing a white t-shirt, black pants and glasses.
