Can you identify this man?

Just before 5pm on Friday 3 July 2026, an elderly woman was allegedly deceived into handing over a large amount of cash to a man on Belair Road at Hawthorn.

Police are seeking information that may help identify the man pictured in this vision.

Suspect description:
The man is described as being of Indian appearance, aged in his 30s, with short dark hair and stubble. He spoke with an accent and was wearing a white and blue zip-up jacket, off-white pants and dark shoes.
