Man wanted for passing counterfeit money

At about 1.50pm on Sunday, 29th May 2022 a male entered a shop in Fullarton and attempted to purchase items using a bank card. When the card declined, the man presented a counterfeit $100 note and was given legitimate change before leaving.

At about 2.01pm the same male entered a service station at Glenside and exchanged a counterfeit $100 note for legitimate cash. He did not purchase any items.

At about 3.52pm the same male entered a shop at Unley and attempted to purchase items using a bank card. When the card declined, the suspect used a counterfeit $100 note and was given legitimate change before leaving.

He is described as being Caucasian, slim build, clean shaven, with blonde/brown hair. At the time he was wearing a black hooded jumper with white ‘ZY’ lettering on the front, dark coloured pants, dark coloured shoes with white soles.
