Theft – Mile End South

Posted on 09/07/2024

Can you help identify a male caught on CCTV stealing items from a hardware store in Mile End South?

At 4.48pm on Thursday, 9 May 2024 a male walked into the hardware store and put two expensive padlocks in his pocket. He spoke with staff, before re-entering the padlock aisle and placing the items down his pants.

When he was approached by staff and asked to hand over the items, he removed the padlocks from his pants and put them in his pockets before walking out of the store without paying for them.

He is described as being Caucasian and aged between 26-35 year’s old. He had a distinctive leaf tattoo on his left forearm and a tattoo of a face on his right leg. At the time he was wearing a grey ‘Rick and Morty’ T-shirt, black shorts, black backpack, pink hat and grey ‘Vans’ brand shoes.

If you have any information you can anonymously share what you know with Crime Stoppers SA online or freecall 1800 333 000.
