Theft of Diving Helmet – Blakeview

At about 2.30pm on Saturday, 16th July 2022, an unknown male suspect entered Hazel’s Collectables and stole a distinctive replica antique brass diver’s helmet from the store. The owner of the store was notified by other customers who gave chase. The helmet is valued at about $500. Suspect is described as male with tanned skin, possibly Indian descent, medium build about 5’11” tall with short dark hair and sunglasses on his head. He was wearing red/orange coloured sneakers, possibly navy Adidas track pants with 3 white stripes down each leg and a white Nike jumper. The rear of the jumper had an orange circle with a white Nike tick enclosed in the circle and an orange Nike tick above the circle. The front of the jumper had a black strap, gold chain necklace, gold earring in his left ear and a black facemask with a white logo down the left side. He was carrying a dark coloured jacket or track pants possibly Adidas with 3 stripes around cuffs and waist.
