10-40 Scrap Metal Theft – Metropolitan Adelaide

10/40TV Police need help to identify an unknown offender who has deceived people into stealing scrap metal on his behalf at various sites in the Adelaide metropolitan area. Between 7th and 23rd October, 2009 an unknown male entered a scrap metal yard in metropolitan Adelaide and collected money, knowing the scrap metal was stolen. The male is described as: male, approx. 50yrs old, about 5′ 8″ in height, with greyish short hair, slim to medium build of tanned complexion. Police are appealing to anyone who knows the identity of the offender involved to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
