Between Wednesday, 16th May, 2012 and Friday, 18th May, 2012, the 87 year old victim was befriended by a male known as ‘Joseph’.  The victim and ‘Jospeh" attended at Marion People’s Choice Credit Union on Wednesday, 16th May, 2012 and the victim withdrew money from his credit union account and organised for further money to be withdrawn the next day.  The victim and ‘Joseph’ returned to the credit union the next day where the victim withdrew another large amount of money.  The victim and ‘Joseph’ returned to the victim’s house where the victim hid the money, whilst ‘Joseph’ watched.  ‘Jospeh’ told the victim he would return the next day.  The next day the victim found the money had gone.  The victim hasn’t seen ‘Joseph’ again.

‘Joseph’ is described as:  40 years of age, tanned to olive skin with red dyed hair.
