13-08 Robbery – BP On The Run Pooraka
Police need help to identify a male who robbed a service station.
At about 10.40 pm on Sunday, 14th October, 2012, a male entered the BP On The Run, at 126 Bridge Rd, Pooraka and selected something from the fridge. He then approached the counter and asked the shop assistant for two packets of cigarettes. The shop assistant asked the male for payment, at which point the male produced a screwdriver from his pocket and held it towards the shop assistant’s head shouting, swearing and hitting things on the counter. The male has taken the cigarettes and left towards Carr Street.
The male is described as: early twenties, 6′ (182 cm), medium build, Aboriginal, with dark short hair, pot belly and clean shaven, wearing a purple baseball cap with yellow peak worn backwards (possible LA Lakers cap), black t-shirt with large motif, tan shorts, black shoes and white ankle socks.
