13-83 Deception – Port Road – Welland, Woodville West and Queenstown

           

Police need help to identify a male who stole a credit card and used the card at three different locations on Port Road.

Between 3.00 am and 6.15 am on Saturday, 27th October, 2012, the victim’s credit card was stolen from a motor vehicle at his home address at Grange.

Between 6.15 am and 7.00 am on the same day the above male has used the stolen credit card at three different locations along Port Road.  On each occasion the male has presented the stolen credit card to the store employee and forged the signature on the receipt.  The stolen credit card was used at On The Run, Port Rd, Welland, BP On The Run, Port Rd, Woodville West and Shell Coles Express, Port Rd, Queenstown.  Items that the male purchased include mobile phone credit, Drum tobacco and Farmers Union iced coffee, with total value in excess of $300.00.

The male is described as:  40 years, 180 cm (5’11”), stocky build, Caucasian, collar length brown hair and grey closed trimmed or unshaven beard, wearing dark clothing and blue bicycle helmet.  He was using a motorised bicycle as transport.
