14-23 Assault Causing Serious Harm – Derlanger Ave Collinswood
Police need help to identify the person/s who assaulted a male on Derlanger Ave, Collinswood then stole the male victim’s car.
Between 10.45 pm and 11.19 pm on Wednesday, 5th February, 2014, the male victim was located on Derlanger Ave, Collinswood with serious head injuries. The male was conveyed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious but stable condition. The investigation revealed the male was assaulted causing swelling to his head and face, with a large laceration to the rear of his head. The victim also had his vehicle stolen, a white Nissan Maxima sedan, Reg No. VHV-263, which was located on Percy Street, Prospect, the next day.
Police are seeking assistance from members of the public in relation to anything they may have observed on the evening of the 5th February, 2014, in the vicinity of North East Road and Fitzroy Terrace, Medindie or Derlanger Ave, Collinswood or Percy St, Prospect.
