Attempted Abduction – Netherby

 

12-02  Police need help to identify a male who attempted to get a school girl into a car at Netherby.

At about 3.45 pm on Thursday, 1st December, 2011, the female primary school student was walking on Kitchener St, Netherby, when followed for a short period by a male driver of a white taxi.  The male then stopped and asked the female school student to get into the taxi.  She then ran off and was again followed by the male driver until he was caught at the traffic lights at Fullarton Road and Kitchener St, Netherby.

He is described as:  30-40 years, Caucasian, light tan, with brown greyish hair which was balding and thinning on top of the head, wrinkled forehead, acne on cheek and clean shaven, wearing a navy blue polo shirt with possible red patch on right sleeve and large pair of black wrap around plastic sunglasses.
