15-125 Aggravated Robbery – Reepham Hotel Prospect

At 7.00 pm, Sunday, 24th May 2015, the attendant was working in the office of the drive thru section of the Reepham Hotel.  He heard an indicator alarm activate, alerting him someone had entered the drive thru.  He was then confronted by the male suspect, who had a hammer and demanded money. The cash till was opened for the suspect who stole money from the till and then walked away a short distance.  The male suspect then returned and stole three bottles of alcohol from a shelf within the drive thru and then left.  Another male was seen outside of the drive thru, but did not enter.  Prior to this incident three persons, one of which is believed to be the suspect, were seen standing alongside a utility a short distance away from the Reepham Hotel, possibly in Mendes Street.  The utility had a checker plate tool box in the rear section of it.

 1.   Suspect who did hold-up:  Male, 25-30 years, 5’8″ (172 cm) and Aboriginal, wearing a dark blue long sleeved flannelette shirt, blue jeans, sneakers and a green cloth covering his head.  He may also have been carrying a bag.

2.       Male who didn’t enter bottle shop:  Male, approximately 30 years, slim build, Aboriginal, scrawny face and a dark beard that was patchy, wearing black pants and had a white with red and blue tea towel over his head.

3.       Male who remained with vehicle:   Male, 5’8″ (172 cm) and Aboriginal, wearing a dark blue flannelette druggie style shirt.
