Aggravated Assault – Glenelg (20-62)

At about 7.20 pm on Thursday, 11th June, 2020, the two teenage male victims were walking from Moseley Square along Jetty Road, Glenelg, when they saw two work acquaintances with two unknown males (pictured).  Words were exchanged and the two pictured males shouted comments at the victims.  The victims walked away.  A short time later the victims saw that they were being followed by the two pictured males.  One of the males grabbed one of the victims from behind by his hair and a scuffle ensued.  The males stated that they wanted to fight the victims.  Punches were thrown and both victims ran up Jetty Road towards Brighton Road and were caught by the two males at the 7 Day Pharmacy.  One of the victims was kicked in the face and head resulting in a fractured jaw, which later required extensive surgery to re-attach his jaw with metal plates.  He also lost a tooth.  The other victim suffered bruising to his nose.

The two males are described as:  19-20 years of age, stocky build, Middle Eastern appearance and have short black hair
