Aggravated Robbery – Bartley Tavern West Lakes Shore (20-03)

        

At about 1.20 am on Friday, 28th June, 2019, the pictured person on the left, has entered the Gaming Room of the Bartley Tavern, on Bartley Terrace, West Lakes Shore, armed with a knife.  He approached a staff member who was standing behind the bar and stole cash, coins and alcohol.  The male fled the hotel on foot in an unknown direction.  There were four patrons in the Gaming/Bar area at the time.  Nobody was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The male is described as:  160 cm (5’3″) and medium build, wearing a black balaclava, grey hooded jumper, black gloves, black pants, brown shoes with yellow or orange laces and carrying a green backpack.

At about 9.34 pm on Monday, 29th July, 2019, the pictured person on the right, has entered the Gaming Room of the Bartley Tavern armed with a knife.  He approached a staff member who was standing behind the bar and stole cash, coins and alcohol.  The male fled the hotel on foot in an unknown direction.  There was one patron in the Gaming/Bar area at the time.  Nobody was physically injured as a result of the robbery. 

The male is described as:  160 cm (5’3″) and medium build, wearing a blue balaclava, black zip up hooded jumper, white gloves, grey or blue pants, white Onitsuka Tiger shoes with black stripes and carrying a black satchel.

****Police believe that the same person has committed both robberies.****
