Deception and Theft – Bunnings Mile End (20-12)
On Sunday, 1st December, 2019 the above pictured male attended Bunnings, at 108 Railway Terrace, Mile End and purchased a large amount of goods using an Openpay account, which was opened by fraudulent means.
This male is described as: aged in his forties, medium build and Caucasian, wearing black ‘Nike Air’ shirt, khaki shorts, black baseball cap and black sunglasses.
Between Monday, 14th October, 2019 and Sunday, 1st December, 2019, Openpay was subjected to over 130 frauds and deceptions committed by the same person/s. These people have taken out credit plans using stolen identities and stolen credit card details. On five occasions these people have conducted transactions with merchants to obtain goods using the credit plans with the stolen identities.
