14-175 Aggravated Robbery – Taperoo Deli

Police need help to identify a male who attempted to rob the Taperoo Deli.

At about 9.50 pm on Saturday, 6th December, 2014, the above male entered the Taperoo Deli, 351 Victoria Road, Taperoo, with a large broad bladed 20 cm knife. He jumped onto the counter and demanded money from the shop attendant. The shop attendant refused and challenged the male, causing him to leave the store. There were no injuries and nothing was stolen. The male was last seen on foot heading in a westerly direction from the deli.

The male is described as: 18-20 years, 170 cm (5’7"), thin athletic build and Aboriginal, wearing a grey hoody with the hood covering his head and face, dark knee length shorts, white socks and dark sandshoes.
