At about 11.30 pm on Wednesday, 24th July, 2019, the above two pictured males entered the Bombay Bicycle Club, at 29 Torrens Road, Ovingham.  The pictured male, armed with a long arm firearm and wearing a light blue face mask, jumped the counter and threatened an employee whilst demanding cash from the safe.  The male handed the money to the second male, who is pictured with the first male and also wearing a full mask and is carrying a backpack or laptop bag, who remained on the patron side of the bar.  Whilst the incident was occurring a patron walked passed the counter.  The male armed with the firearm then pointed the firearm at that patron in an aggressive manner as they walked passed.  The two males were inside the premises for approximately one minute.  The males stole a large quantity of money from the safe.  No one was injured during the incident.  The two males arrived and left the hotel in a stolen silver/grey Mitsubishi Outlander SUV.  The vehicle had been stolen a few hours earlier and then located in a street nearby shortly after the robbery.
