Aggravated Robbery – BP Main North Road – Thorngate

09/27TV – Police need help to identify a man who robbed the BP Service Station on Main North Road Thorngate. At 2.35am on Saturday March 28 2009 a man walked into the BP Service Station on Main North Road Thorngate. He went to the drink fridge and selected an iced coffee before going to the counter. He asked the female staff member for cigarettes before leaning over the counter and demanding money from the til. The terrified worker placed cash into a plastic bag before the man left on foot with the drink, cigarettes and money. He is described as 25-30 years old, European appearance, 175cms tall, about 90kgs with short black hair, olive complexion, black goatee (thin and well groomed) with an ethnic appearance. He was wearing a blue hooded jumper with ‘DaDa’ on the front, white baseball cap and blue jeans. There was also a tattoo on the left side of his neck.
