Murder – David Fletcher (20-63)
At about 6.00 pm on Saturday, 6th November, 2004, David Fletcher, aged 39 years, of Warburton Street, Magill, left his home address for an unknown destination. At the time he was riding his black Kawasaki GPZ1000 motor bike bearing SA Registration plate TGU-795. This was the last known sighting of him. His motorcycle has never been recovered. On 20th December, 2004, some six weeks after his disappearance, he was reported missing by his brother. On the 12th April, 2009, his remains were discovered by a walker at the disused Poona Copper Mine near Moonta, South Australia. His body was rolled up in a large floor rug and remained submerged until it’s discovery following the dropping of the water level at the mine. Found with his body was a black jacket with white writing and banding. Police suspect David Fletcher has been murdered.
