Aggravated Robbery – Brompton (21-48)

At 11:13 pm on Friday, 21 May 2021, a male disguised by a balaclava entered the Gaming Room of the Brompton Hotel, First Street Brompton.  He approached a staff member at the cashier counter before producing a black Nike backpack and demanded, “Fill the bag with money”.  The male held an object, thought to be a weapon.  He exited the hotel via the Gaming Room, after having stolen a quantity of cash and was last seen running across the carpark towards First Street.  A second person of interest was waiting on a motorbike and both persons were last seen travelling north-east along West St, Brompton.

Police are seeking a male, 5’4″ (162 cm), medium build, Caucasian, dark eyes, deep voice and spoke with an Australian accent, wearing a black balaclava, black hooded jacket with fur round the edge of the hood with a distinctive emblem on the chest, light grey/light coloured track pants with a thick black band running down the side of the leg with black patches on the knees, black gloves and white and black sneakers.  The male was holding a black motorbike helmet and a black Nike backpack.

Male on the motorbike:  Unidentified person wearing dark clothing and a motorbike helmet.
